Red Wings in All-Star Game

So in being a huge Wings fan I was recently very dissapointed to see us not represented in the All-Star game. I can understand being injured or even wanting to get a rest but seriously at some point you have to man up. The All-Star game is a joke and a place to show off if you can stand then you can play. There are all most no hits and no defense this isn't really strenuous hockey. Its barely even a practice for most of the guys playing in it, except of course the goalies. But for the wings that wasn't an issue since we've had Conklin in there and Osgood has either been off his game or injured. I believe if the player is truly injured then he should get to pick his replacement from his team. The wings have a slew of players that could have easily fit into that game and to see them go from two players in to zero was sad. I didn't even watch the game. I guess we'll show them when play-offs come.
